DigaJet Charity Golf Cup 2023 achieves high donation total

Private jet airline DigaJet hosted the Golf Cup 2023 in mid-May. A total of 45,000 euros was raised through an auction of extraordinary experiences, which will benefit two well-known foundations for children's aid projects.

Following the first Golf Cup 2022, Cologne-based company DigaJet invited its international clientele to a spectacular charity event at Gut Lärchenhof near Cologne for the second time this spring. On the Monday morning of 22 May 2023, the golfers met to compete against each other in a summery atmosphere. Premium partners presented exquisite luxury vehicles and a Bugatti One-of-One as part of the supporting programme.

The kitchen party at Gut Lärchenhof's multi-award-winning gourmet restaurant was organised by three renowned Cologne chefs - in addition to host Torben Schuster, Leon Hofmockel, La Societé, and Kongo Nishimi, ITO, created the menu. A mentalist and a live band entertained the guests. The centrepiece of the elegant evening event was the auction of extraordinary money-can't-buy experiences. For the highest bid of 40,000 euros, the winner was able to play an 18-hole round at Gut Lärchenhof with golf pro Martin Kaymer, who topped the world rankings in 2011. The proceeds will go to the Martin Kaymer Helianthus Foundation, which supports the education of young people.

Other exclusive prizes generated donations totalling 5,000 euros, which went to Matthias Scherz e.V.. The former professional footballer is thus helping young people in Cologne and the surrounding area in the long term. The main prize in the raffle was drawn by a young golfer. He won a flight to Sylt on the DigaJet. On the North Sea island, he will play a round on one of the rare golf courses with a sea view.

After an eventful day on the exceptional Gut Lärchenhof golf course and a successful charity gala with excellent proceeds totalling 45,000 euros for two foundations run by prominent athletes, host DigaJet would like to thank its guests and all its partners. A flyby for the DigaJet Golf Cup 2024 near Cologne is already being considered.
